A wonderfully cosy cat cafe, with delicious cakes and very friendly staff. We always have a good time playing with the cats here!

Had a fabulous time at the cat cafe. Gorgeous lemon drizzle and biscoff slices. Everything was really clean. The staff were really knowledgeable about all the cats and were happy to chat about them. We will definitely be back

Without a doubt, the best cat cafe I've ever been to. It's an offshoot from Jackson's Rescue, based in the Wirral, whose efforts go to rehabilitation of pets and wildlife in the local area. The welfare of the cats is the priority here and, unlike some other cat cafes, all the stars here are rescues. No expensive pedigrees bought for the experience, but lovable, everyday moggies who deserve a second chance! The best part? They'll stay at the cafe to get used to human contact before being adopted! The cafe speaks for itself - clean, spacious and the cats are clearly very happy to be there. Just listen to Patricia ‘purring like a motorbike’! Or watch tiny athlete Ellery run on her wheel. The cats are all playful, with a seemingly endless supply of toys - they love the springs - and when they need a break away from interaction there's a private room accessible just to them. All the proceeds go into the care of the cats so the volunteers can continue doing what they do. At the time of writing, it costs 10 an hour or 18 for a three-hour session. This is for the admission into the cafe, drinks and food extra. I've found that an hour is enough, though it does fly by. Every time I've been, however, I've seen almost all of the cats and had quality time with them. Jacksons really go the extra mile, and new things are happening all the time - from themed quiz nights to book clubs as well as the new loyalty card scheme and the opportunity to sponsor one of the cats. Only trouble is, choosing which one! Thank you Jacksons. What you do is incredible, long may it continue. :)

Took my daughter here as a surprise for her 16th birthday she has Autism & really enjoys quiet places! And is the families crazy cat lady! She struggles with confidence and speaking to people. Here you are pretty much left to enjoy your time and space. Fantastic table service which was quick. Must try the hot chocolate it's so so yummy! The staff are absolutely wonderful and the cats are lovely! The staff clearly care very much about the cats and I feel the cats are more than well looked after! Plenty of space for them but also we had lots of interactions as many of the cats are very confident and love attention. They get what they want (a play or chin scratch) and wonder off. And that's just cats isn't it! Honestly couldn't have asked for any more. Highly recommend will be back soon! We chose here because of the charity this isn't a place "to make money from cats" like many other cat cafes all purchases go back into the cats so we travelled from Chester specifically for Jackson's knowing what we spend went back into the amazing work Jackson's do! Thank you so much for a lovely time.

We love coming here - the staff are wonderful and you can tell they love the cats. The cats all seem happy and healthy, and aren't forced to interact with the guests - and can easily distance themselves if they want to. There are plenty of toys, and it's wonderful to see them play around. The refreshments here are lovely too, with quite a wide selection of hot and cold drinks as well as snacks and cakes. The cakes are actually amazing and several of them are vegan - the raspberry and coconut is out of this world!

We went today for the quiet time slot. what a joy it was, my son and daughter absolutely loved all the cats. (I fell in love with Fraser) We even met the elusive Mallory! And we definitely made a firm friend in Toast, the will he, won't he cake thief! haha! Can't wait to go back for my daughter's birthday next time!

This is a fantastic place. It has a lovely relaxed vibe with great decor, the coffee and cake are perfect and the staff are really friendly and helpful. It’s also a cat cafe where the cats are prioritised and clearly happy and relaxed. The layout has been designed with the cats in mind just as much as the people with walkways just for the cats so they can easily get away for some privacy if they want. There’s plenty of areas for the cats to just chill out while they’re in the cafe and the arrangements in place mean that the cats can interact with visitors on their own terms. Most impressive is that all of this is done for the good of animals and to raise money to help the charity do it’s invaluable work and not to line the pocket of an individual. It’s a wonderful place!

Fantastic place, lovely to see how happy and well cared for the kitties are, you can tell how much the staff and volunteers adore them. Nearly all are kittens at the moment which meant they were very lively and playful. I've been to a few cat cafes and this one was by far the best. Coffee is good too!
